Summer is just around the corner! I am excited to have a break from homeschooling for a little bit and although I will be writing like a madwoman to meet deadlines, I hope to squeeze in some much-needed reading time as well.
Whether you are taking road trips, hanging by the pool, or escaping to the lake this summer…Here are a few books that I HIGHLY recommend you take along with you. An excellent list for summer. Summer plans included reading, reading, reading, and catching up on some outdoor planting.
There are a few actual Biblical characters (the high priest, etc.) but mostly fictional ones. It focuses on the forming of cities of refuge, though, so lots of actual history in there. SO GOOD.

My plans this Summer are to read and write as much as possible. All of these books sound so interesting–and I've wanted to read "Across the Blue" ever since it came out. 🙂

I'm adding these to my beach reading list! I have a lot of ocean time planned!
Kinda like last year – we are pretty much staying put (the grown-ups, anyway) – my daughter has a week and a half of missions trip (only an hour from home) and a week of overnight camp – both kids – we will be empty nesters for SIX DAYS), Reading sounds WONDERFUL – the Biblical intrigues me (which probably won't surprise you LOL) – are their actual biblical characters in it, or is it simply set during that time? I will have to grab that one for sure at some point.

No big plans, it’s sort of hard to get away when you own a small business.
We are hoping to take a few days off in July and head down to Florida.
My family and I plan to spend time at the pool, with extended family, at the library, and lots of playing outside!
