Tomorrow I’ll be back with my Word of the Week. For today, here’s your question:
If you could travel anywhere in the world on a
dream vacation (cost being no issue), where would you go?
Dies my dream vacation include a time machine? Because if so, I would love to travel back to the pre-civil war era or maybe go visit Lord and Lady Grantham (:D) at Downton Abbey.
But on a more realistic note, I'm not sure where I would go. Vienna probably. It has such rich history and beautiful music.
Tahiti
My dream vacation would be to somewhere warm and tropical like Fiji. Beautiful water, beaches and just total relaxation. 🙂
My dream vacation is Ireland and Scotland to see it all. 🙂
Europe! I would want a Grand Tour sort of deal like the series Lisa Bergren wrote about! 🙂
I would love to go to Scotland.
I would do a tour of Europe… 🙂
Hallo, Hallo Ms. White!
Spare no expense!? Ooh my! Now that's the ticket! 🙂 I think one of my most ambitious adventures would have to be travelling through Canada — East to West, incluiding the Maritimes, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon, and winding the trip down in Alaska! Travelling by car, rail, ferry, dog sled — you name it! I'd love to get involved with the localities too, giving back any way I could, and see what is off the beaten path! Dig deeper into the local histories, pick up the flavourments of the local cuisines, and find ways to make each Province and area memorable by doing something outside my comfort zone! Like horse back riding in Northern Alberta OR going on a polar bear tour in the Territories! Even kayak the fjords once I am in Alaska!
Canada is our northern neighbour, and I would love to have the ability to get to know them a bit better than I do now! As I am limited to tv series, motion pictures, Olympic figure skaters, snowboarders, and hockey players, as much as the many musicians that populate our airwaves! 🙂 I'd even like to get to know more of the writers who live there, too!
*One way I would like to give back is to help the local hockey teams for children, as I found out about this when the Olympics were hosted by Vancouver!
Ideally after studying a bit more so I'd at least know the genitive case, I would take a Grand Tour of Russia and the former USSR – so many cultures, so much under-appreciated history! From the Kola peninsula by Finland, to the Kamchatka peninsula by Japan, and down to through steppes of central Asia – drinking tea from samovars, listening to all the varieties of folk music, really getting to know the people – that would be ideal.
If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Italy or anywhere in Europe for that matter. I would love to take a tour of Europe. I have also shared on Facebook – facebook.com/angela.holland.359/posts/700208593342118

Thank you!!!
Fun answers, all!!
That's on my list too!!
Oh, fun! We had a foreign exchange student from Germany many years ago–he'd love for us to come visit, and we'd love to one of these days too!
Some good friends of mine just went to Turkey–they had some amazing pictures of early church locations!
I'd love to spend a year travelling throughout Great Britain. I'd do it in comfort and style and see everything.
That is kind of a hard question!:) There are so many places I would love to go. So for now, the top 2 would be New Zealand and Ireland.
Ireland! I've been once, but I would give anything to go back and have more time there! It's such a gorgeous country… There were times when I was there that I almost couldn't believe that it was actually real. I would love to see every part of the country. And a trip to London would be wonderful… I was able to spend 2 days there, but that's nowhere near enough time to take in the gorgeous city. 🙂
I would go to Norway or Australia.

I would love to visit England and Denmark and Germany to put together my family geneology
God bless you
The Middle East and the Mediterranean nations. I want to see where Christianity began and meet the believers there. I also want to see Europe around the Sea.
