But we found so many great quotes, that I just wanted to share the ones that most struck me. My favorite was the MLK one, but it was just too long:

Very good quotes and great reminder. So easy to get caught up in one's own projects and forget about the more important ones.

Love the quotes! Especially the one from Charles Dickens. "Work and do not complain." Sounds good to me. (have three younger siblings that may be prone to complaining at times)

We were talking about doing the car-servicing for single women too, Golden! Haven't worked out the details yet, but it struck us all as a great thing. (Not that *I* could be any help with that one, LOL.)

My husband and I and another couple are going to start taking sack lunches to the bus stop and just hand them out, then ask people if we can pray for them.
A helping ministry that our church in Red River engaged was one Saturday out of the month our deacons serviced and worked on cars of widows and single women – divorced, single moms or just single women. Cars are such a nemesis to single women. It was a ministry that was greatly needed and appreciated.
